WALKING
A number of walks amongst magnificent scenery ranging from short strolls right up to challenging mountain ascents can easily be accessed from our Guest House and several guide books are available to read or borrow from our Guest Lounge to help you choose.
ATTRACTIONS
Local attractions include the Glencoe Visitor Centre, the Jacobite Express (Harry Potter Steam Train) and the Nevis Range Gondola. The Ballachulish Tourist Information Centre and historic Slate Quarry are just next door whilst excursions such as cruises to view seals and dolphins or distillery tours are also easily accessible in Fort William or Oban.
ACTIVITIES
You can hire bikes, canoes and boats locally, try your hand at climbing outdoors or at the nearby Ice Factor which includes the world's biggest indoor ice wall or experience other pursuits such as canyoning and abseiling. In the winter months(conditions permitting), skiing and snowboarding are available at either the Glencoe or Nevis Range centres.
SHOPPING
A wide range of crafts, speciality foods, gifts and outdoor gear and clothing are all available locally.
